A WAY TO HELP
I have worked for almost 12 years as a resident counselor in two different college dormitories.
One night I was called to a room and found about five or six friends weeping, trying desperately to comfort a woman who had just found out that her dad had suddenly passed away. After first receiving the news earlier that evening, I had prayed to become more aware of the Christ presence in my consciousness, and in the thought of anyone else who needed to know it. I knew that the Christ, the message of God, comforts and heals. So when I discovered what was happening, I just walked in and quietly stood among the group, praying with all my heart to know how to help.
The crying stopped immediately. No one spoke a word, but the prayer in that room was powerful!
