Prayer about a dental problem
Here is one of the many remarkable healings that I've had as a result of prayer. About two years ago I had a severe toothache. I made an appointment with a dentist. He took X-rays but found no evidence of decay.
When the pain persisted, he sent me to consult with two other dentists. They determined that a tooth abutting a bridge was abscessed and would have to be removed. The recommended dental work to correct the situation would require a year to complete.
At this point I asked a Christian Science practitioner to pray with me to heal the problem. We talked about how the source, the very root, of my being was in God. This meant that I was spiritual, not physical — God's "image," as the Bible says. So I didn't need to wait to solve this problem.
