Needed: a change of thinking
Several years ago the nail on one of my little fingers became infected and came off. I was living with my dad at the time, and I was irritated with all the demands that he was making on my time.
Once I saw that I needed to change my attitude toward my dad, though, a healing of my finger started taking place.
I prayed and found this statement particularly helpful: "Man is idea, the image, of Love; he is not physique" (Science and Health, p. 475). I saw that this applied to my dad and also to me. In the Bible, in the book of Genesis, we are told that we're made in God's image and likeness, and this was another thought that I considered during this time.
My relationship with my dad also improved.
Soon the nail and finger were in perfect condition. My relationship with my dad also improved.
I am very grateful for this healing, and for all the other healings that I have had.
