Towers of strength

I have heard this ...
That two things stand
no matter what may fall.

They are grace and truth.
The grace is God's love—felt.
The truth is God's love—revealed.

Together they repair the breach,
show that we are not separate,
hallow the ground of consciousness,
beat the swords into the song of birds,
where the hate and fear and ignorance take wings
on the gentle winds of a new morning,
and fly away.

Grace and truth remain.
Towers of strength.
