If the future looks dark, trust God
Suddenly life wasn't worth living anymore. My husband's job had been eliminated. I was not employed, and he was the sole breadwinner in our family. Inflation had started biting into Kenya, so his getting another job looked impossible.
I felt betrayed and lost. Then a friend whose job had also been cut back told me that I should not worry, because God was always present and active.
At first, I just wanted to find a way of coping with a future that looked dark. I knew that God was good and helped a lot of people. But I didn't have enough faith to believe that the Almighty would help me.
