Chasing rainbows
It was one of those stunningly beautiful late afternoons in Queenstown, New Zealand. All day long, soft rains had caressed the surface of Lake Wakatipu, and now, at five o'clock, shafts of sunlight were making their entrance.
As I looked up, the sky was ablaze with the clearest, most dazzling rainbow I had ever seen. It embraced the lake and the Remarkables Mountains and every corner of my being.
"Picture!" I thought. "I've got to get this. I'll never see another one like it. Quick! Where's my camera?"
