In an article for Habitat World, Millard Fuller, the founder of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit organization that provides low-cost housing around the world, spoke about the Bible's message in relation to helping the poor. He said, "The Bible is clear in telling us to care about the problems of the poor and to take action. It is a matter of simple and pure justice and, to use a strong theological term, righteousness. The welfare of all should be the concern of all....
