Child's earache healed
One night our little girl woke us, crying with pain in one ear. Before our marriage, my kind husband and I had agreed that Christian Science healing would be our first choice, and if a need was not met, we would do as my husband would desire and seek medical care.
For the rest of the night, I prayed to know that God was caring for her as always and that nothing could reverse that. I read from Science and Health and the Bible. But her cries went on. It was discouraging because we had often had prompt healings.
In the morning my husband wanted to take her to a doctor, and off they went. Later he told me that at the door of the doctor's office, our daughter stopped crying. The doctor asked why they were there. My husband explained how I had been praying. And now the child was suddenly well! The doctor smiled and said that praying was the better way and sent them home.
