Have a good day. Really!

The Herald of Christian Science,

We Repeat These words when we meet friends and acquaintances. But the saying has become a kind of ritual and often doesn't have much meaning.

Recently, though, I have given this greeting serious thought. Is there anything anyone can do in order to have a good day? Or is luck or destiny involved?

There's a concept of day that I take as a standard for a good day. It's a description found in Science and Health: "The irradiance of Life; light, the spiritual idea of Truth and Love.
