How do you make big decisions? Do you discuss all the options with family and friends? Make long lists of pros and cons? Research all the ramifications?
While these may be useful steps, they may not bring the clarity necessary to make a confident decision. What's needed is spiritual light.
We hope you'll find that the prayers, spiritual study, and healing experiences authors share in this column help bring the right choices and truly satisfying decisions to light in your life.
"Your decisions will master you, whichever direction they take." MARY BAKER EDDY
I put my hand in God's and didn't let go
In my last year of college, I had certain requirements to meet before graduation. At registration, I realized that I had a tough class load. After the first week of classes, tough was no longer an adequate description. Impossible was more like it. Altogether, the different classes required multiple papers due every week varying from the relatively short to the extremely lengthy. There was no way to fulfill all the assignments. There wasn't enough time in the day to do all that research and writing. I was in way over my head. Even dropping some extracurricular activities was not going to solve the problem.
My mom always said in situations like this that one couldn't worry and worship at the same time. Worrying got me nowhere. Worshiping opened many more doors. I chose to worship and pray.
