Taking the stress out of distress
I had moved from stress and discouragement to harmony, through powerful, God-inspired prayer.
My wife and I had been engaged in a mission of visiting urban and rural properties, which included taking quality professional photographs. The exposed rolls of film were stored in a plastic pouch for later processing. After one particularly demanding day, I went to insert yet another roll of film. The pouch was not there, and no searching of the immediate area produced it.
I was tempted to succumb to frustration and selfcondemnation. Days of work were involved. Some shots were unrepeatable.
My wife remained unshaken, however. She'd seen similarly challenging situations in the past resolved through prayer. This thought came to her as we discussed steps we could take: "We are not concerned with human searching but with God's directing."
