FOLLOWING GOD'S COMMANDMENTS
Scott had a favorite cap. His grandfather gave it to him, and he liked to wear it to school every day. While he was in school, he kept it in his locker. Every day at lunch time, he took it out of the locker and hung it on a hook near the lunchroom, so he could wear it on the playground after lunch. One day, when he went to get his cap from the hook, it was gone.
When Scott came home from school, he told his mom about the cap. "I don't know why anyone would take it," he said disappointedly. "It belongs to me, and it says in the Bible 'Thou shalt not steal.' "*
"I know," replied Scott's mom, "but there are some children who haven't read the Bible and maybe don't know the Ten Commandments. That doesn't mean those children aren't governed by God, divine Principle, though. No one is ever outside of God's care."
