Dear Sentinel
When I listen to God, good things happen. One time my class had to recite a poem in front of the whole school. We were next in line, and I got nervous. I started to pray so I would do a good job. Thoughts from God told me that He is with me, showing me how to do well. After I prayed I wasn't nervous. I did a good job. Our class did so well our principal asked us to do it again!
Another time my mom, my sister, and I were sleeping over at my friend's grandparents' house. They had three cats, and my mom is allergic to cats. I heard my mom sneezing after I got in bed. I wanted to help her. I remembered a Bible verse I learned in Sunday School: "Nothing shall by any means hurt you" (Luke 10:19). I got out of bed and told my mom the verse. She thanked me and stopped sneezing and fell asleep. When I went back to bed I felt good because it helped her.
