Spiritual steadfastness conquers pain
Christian Science has been my way of life for twenty-five years or more, so this testimony is long overdue. When our son was three years old, he had a healing of a painful arm by talking to his "best friend" (his name for God). That same son, when he was five, slammed a door that cut off the top of his finger. Through Christian Science treatment, the finger grew back completely. Though the healing took some time, it was a period of great spiritual growth for me. And as a result of the healing I decided to join the local Church of Christ, Scientist.
The healing was complete; I swam and cycled miles.
