One day I went camping with my fellow Boy Scouts

One day I went camping with my fellow Boy Scouts. We had lots of fun that day: we went fishing, started fires, and did other activities. The next morning was fun, too; we swam and went in canoes. Later that day after we ate lunch, I was walking through the tall grass and stepped on a rusty nail.

I rushed to one of the scoutmasters, and he told me that I would have to call home and get my mom to come pick me up. After he told me what might happen if I didn't go to the emergency room and get a shot right away, I was afraid I might die. Boy, was I scared!

As soon as my mom came, I wanted to go to the hospital. As we drove, we talked about what I am learning about God in the Christian Science Sunday School. After we were finished talking, I wasn't scared anymore and didn't want to go to the emergency room. When we got home we called a Christian Science practitioner. He told me that error has no power over me, that I would be all right, and that divine Love couldn't be hurt by a nail or be infected—so I couldn't either.
