God's child

Hildred Lucus McCurties

God's child is cared for,
encircled with Love's arm.
God's child is safe,
protected from all harm.

God's child is intelligent, and also kind;
guided, directed by divine Mind.

The storms of sense, loud and wild,
can never touch me, God's child.

I am joyful today
for God has smiled,
And made me satisfied
to be His child.
