Recently I was visiting my dad
Recently I was visiting my dad. He was home, sick with flu for about two days. When he went back to work, I began to have the same symptoms. Right when I started to feel sick, I got out the Bible Lesson. I had been to camp the week before, and didn't have any problems there. I had had a fun–filled week, and I wasn't going to let error get in the way of my last week out of town.
The subject of that week's Bible Lesson was "Love." The passage that helped me the most was, "In divine Science, man is the true image of God" (Science and Health, p. 259). To me, this meant that we are in God's kingdom. We reflect God, and we are spiritual. Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matt. 5:48). I knew that I had to be perfect because I am the image and likeness of God. After a few hours my appetite came back, and I thanked God for this healing.
