Serving The Mother Church as a security host
"... I was asked by one of the Directors if I would care to do a little watching at the church. I gladly answered in the affirmative, and have been in the building part of every night since that time."
(Quoted in Mary Baker Eddy, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, pp. 60–61)
Today, as in 1906 when James J. Rome wrote these words to Mary Baker Eddy, Christian Scientists—school-teachers, artists, business people, retirees, students—are responding to the opportunity to serve on the security host team at The Mother Church. • good communication skills
• mental and physical agility
• a genuine desire to be of service to our Cause
