What have God's thoughts got to do with angels?
If you had asked me fifteen years ago if I would at some point be writing about angels, I might well have said, "You've got to be kidding!" I not only didn't believe in angels, I didn't believe that any rational, thinking person could believe in them.
Yet here I am, a decade and a half after being introduced to the teachings of Christian Science, gladly writing about angels. What's more, I still consider myself a rational, thinking person—although perhaps a little more spiritually-minded.
What happened to make the difference? Angels "happened"! I have had many experiences in which I have been sure that God's thoughts were passing to me—guiding me, healing me, and turning me away from sensual inclinations to more spiritual ways of thinking and acting.
