Truth, not time

In all of life there's no "ago"
or "was";
no nebulous "will be"
or "future perfect"
to be labored for;
not even "present tense"—
as time.

There's just the good,
forever "now,"
the "is" and "are"
of perfect God and perfect man—
as ever-present truth.
