Because of what I learned in the Christian Science Sunday School, I have always felt very close to the fact that God's law governs my innermost being. Christian Science treatment has been my sole health care since childhood, and it has resulted in many healings of illnesses, burns, injuries, internal problems, and other difficulties.

I credit the following healing to Christian Science class instruction, and the enhanced study and prayer it inspired. This was a landmark experience for me, and one I'll long remember.

About a month after taking class, I was seized by a violent pain in my side early one morning. I tried to pray, but the pain was so severe and so unlike any physical discomfort I had experienced before that I could not focus my thinking on any spiritual facts, or even read clearly.
