During a stay in Paris some years ago, I developed a severe inflammation of my internal reproductive organs. At that time I was not practicing Christian Science, though as a child I had gone to a Christian Science Sunday School for quite a while.

I was treated medically for eighteen months before the inflammation ceased. Doctors told me I would never be capable of giving birth to a child.

Later on I began to be interested in Christian Science and consulted a Christian Science practitioner. Gradually I began an intensive study of this religion, which little by little made me understand the spiritual fact that God is our Father and Mother, the only creator.
