I am indeed grateful to be studying Christian Science
I am indeed grateful to be studying Christian Science. My family and I have had many healings of financial and physical problems, and of difficult relationships.
One Saturday morning I woke to find that my son's friend, who was visiting us for the night, had become ill, along with two of my own children. As I took the boy home, I began pondering some spiritual truths and examining my outlook on the entire situation.
I realized that up to this point my thoughts had been burdened, ever since I had learned that this boy's mother was suffering from a virus. I had not immediately recognized that a virus cannot be present or true because of God's allness. Instead I had thought of the time of year and how the media had reported the likelihood of contracting such illnesses. I had then felt that I must spend a lot of time praying for the protection of my own family. Now, I realized, I had practically expected to see the symptoms appear in our home.
