All-inclusive
At two
Jack's conversation
is strictly limited.
What need of words
with older sisters
to interpret
every flutter of a fellow's eyelash?
Yet as these siblings
swing and slide
and skate and ride
Jack's eagerness to be a part
has shaped
his only spoken words
as trailing in their wake
he cries (insistently expectant)
"JACK TOO!!"
Head bowed
one day
in prayer for those
who needed help to see
their God-crowned entity
(yet feeling far from well myself)
I heard his distant battle cry
and thought
why not?
"ME TOO!!" to all these healing truths
I claim for others
"Me too (insistently expectant)
wrapped in Love's all-inclusive care!"
And I was well.
