To God's child

We must not doubt.
We need not fear
For God,
Our Life, our strength
Is here.

He sees you whole,
Upright, and free
Of pain,
Of evil and
Heredity.

He commanded—
It is so, still.
You are
Strong, perfect, by
His will.

You are His own
(And I am, too).
Gladly
I see His work
In you.

God's own child, sweet
And good, so dear.
In Life
Have we anything
To fear?

Nothing, child, for
Each is to be
Love's child
Unbound, soaring,
Free—free!

God's love is good,
Tender and true,
It is
Divine, endures
Ever new.

So, go to Him
To be your guide.
He leads
So wisely and
provides.

His way may seem
Too far, too wide
But we
From Love divine
Can't hide.

Fly child, fly; joy
To know and see
That God
Will lead you home,
To be.
