Popping the balloon of error
Kenny is seven and he loves school! He likes reading and math, but he especially enjoys riding the school bus. Every morning it picks him up right in front of his house, and every afternoon it brings him right back.
One day, though, Kenny cried when his mom woke him up to get ready for school. He didn't want to get out of bed because his ear hurt. Mom sat down next to him and was very quiet. Kenny knew that she was praying. He had learned how to pray in the Christian Science Sunday School that he attended every Sunday morning. He remembered that God is Love. And he thought of the prayer for the little children by Mary Baker Eddy from Miscellaneous Writings. It reads like this:
