I would like very much to testify of a healing I had in 1991
I would like very much to testify of a healing I had in 1991. I had an ugly growth on my eyelid that had been there for quite a long time. Each week a friend took me with her when she served in the local Christian Science Reading Room. There I read and studied quietly. I prayed so hard and so sincerely about it, and for many hours.
One day while I was there studying, the growth dropped off. My friend and I expressed our gratitude to God for this healing, and later another friend noticed that the eyelid was completely healed.
I put a lot of work into receiving this healing, which means a great deal to me. I have not been a Christian Scientist for many years. I worked and prayed to God myself.
I am so grateful to God, to His beloved Son, and to Mary Baker Eddy for her discovery of this truth we can use every day. And every day I thank God for His goodness.
