God and the economy
Are you facing financial hardship? Seeking an understanding of God first can bring the answers you need!
When we start thinking about the economy—and who doesn't these days—where do we begin? With gloomy economic forecasts? With checkbook balances that don't measure up? Or do we start with God?
God, Christian Science teaches, is only good and has only good for His creation. This creation, though, does not include the concept of man most people have—a mortal man who, far too often, is apt to get into big trouble when it comes to finances. (And other things as well!)
That mortal concept is not the man of God's creating. The man of God's creating is made in God's likeness, as the Bible reassures us. And since God is incorporeal Spirit, the man of His creating must be spiritual and immortal. This is our real nature, our true being.
