INSIDE: LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE

This week's Sentinel offers some significant ways to pray for the resolution of conflict, and for dissolving and healing the resentment that sometimes follows. In "Discovering the power of God's self-enforcing law," the author illustrates how prayer led to overcoming conflict in her family. In "Never the victim of resentment," we are encouraged to find healing through "yielding to the will of God," where His love alone triumphs.

The continuous operation of God's law of all-embracing good makes possible the healing of hardened hearts and animosity. The effect of divine law includes everyone—nobody is ever left out of the scope of its beneficial influence. Because God's law is the outcome of divine Mind, neither human will nor human opinion has actual authority—or genuine power—to challenge or interfere with spiritual progress.

When the unifying power of divine law is clearly realized, healing is inevitable, even though we may sometimes need to work diligently at demonstrating it!
