INSIDE: LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE

There are so many complex issues these days—on the broader world stage, as well as closer to home. Sometimes it's hard not to think that things are beyond our control. We all seek a stable, progressive life we want to know that man isn't a helpless mortal and that bad things can't "just happen."

This week, we hear from people who've found health, housing, and employment by discovering more of what it means to be the spiritual child of God, under His control. These experiences help to show that random misfortune can't really deprive us of God-given goodness.

There is increasing proof in people's lives these days that there is a dependable law of God that supersedes dubious economic predictions or discouraging medical predictions. And that's why we can escape the deadening, hypnotic notion that man is trapped by material circumstances. He isn't!
