"...We have been so conditioned by our education, by our culture, by our scientific age we find it difficult to accept anything which cannot be measured .... What matters for us is what can be counted, graphed and touched, not the power of nonquantifiable experience, or the value of ideas or beliefs whose immediate impact on persons cannot be detected.

"Jesus wanted to help the disciples expand their frame of reference. Jesus invited his disciples to step beyond their fear and apprehension .
