God's clear direction ... even in emergencies!

Have you ever heard a traffic report mention a "solo-car spinout"? In the Los Angeles area where I live, such things are common, sometimes with serious consequences. Last summer, I witnessed one. And through prayer, I saw that God's clear direction and ever-presence protected me, and everyone around me.

Whether our neighborhood is filled with bicycles or camels or cars, whether we're visiting a much more congested area than we're accustomed to or in unfamiliar territory, God's unfailing law of harmony, encompassing all, can be understood and experienced.

Christian Science helps us discover more about God's invincible law of harmony by showing us the true, spiritual nature of God and His idea, man. As Christ Jesus showed us, God is Spirit. (See John 4:24.) Divine Spirit is equally present everywhere, all at once. So are His laws. They are always operating, always "on." God made man in His likeness, reflecting Spirit. So the real and only man is spiritual and is under the laws of Spirit. The only real and powerful laws are God's laws. And these laws are good, producing and sustaining harmony in God's man and in His entire universe. This is the real universe we live in. As Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy explains it, "Harmony in man is as beautiful as in music, and discord is unnatural, unreal."
