There is an article by Mary Baker Eddy called "What Our Leader Says"...
There is an article by Mary Baker Eddy called "What Our Leader Says" that I learned about in my Sunday School. I want to tell you how it has helped me.
One day when I was four and a half, I remember saying, "Mom, my ear hurts." My mom got out Mrs. Eddy's Prose Works and started reading to me. I felt my mom's love for me and God's love, too. I knew God's arms were wrapped around me. My mom called a Christian Science practitioner, and she and Mom both prayed for me. Soon I felt better, and my ear didn't hurt.
A few years later, I was having a hard time keeping up with my schoolwork in third grade. I felt my classmates were ahead of me, and I thought it would be good to pray. I read and studied "What Our Leader Says." The article begins: "Beloved Christian Scientists, keep your minds so filled with Truth and Love, that sin, disease, and death cannot enter them. It is plain that nothing can be added to the mind already full." Within a few weeks, I had caught up with my schoolwork, and later my mom told me that she had studied this passage when my ear hurt.
