I am thankful to have attended a Christian Science Sunday School

I am thankful to have attended a Christian Science Sunday School. After attending churches of another denomination, where I gained considerable familiarity with the Bible, I yearned for a deeper understanding of the Bible stories.

My aunt suggested I go to the Christian Science Sunday School because she felt it had much to offer. I did so the very next Sunday, and enrolled the following week. The class included study of the Ten Commandments and Christ Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. We also discussed passages from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. After a few weeks I entered a class that studied the weekly Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly and held question-and-answer discussions. Many spiritual truths became clearer to me with the help of dedicated Sunday School teachers.

Great spiritual progress came to my life after entering that Sunday School. Other members of my family began attending church. My sister was enrolled in the Sunday School, and later on her husband-to-be was healed almost instantaneously of the desire to smoke. Some members have joined The Mother Church, and two have had class instruction.
