Defeating doubt
Uncertainty seems to be built into the human condition. But when we glimpse something of the fact that God is our Mind, there's no room left for doubt.
Knowing something absolutely without any doubts is a wonderful thing, especially since so much of what we experience in human life seems tinged with uncertainty.
One occasionally hears writers, artists, inventors, or even mathematicians tell of instances when they were inspired with an insight that seemed to come from outside of themselves and enabled them to transcend the usual steps of human reasoning.
Those who have experienced spiritual healing also sometimes remark that during diligent prayer an "angel thought," or healing idea, came to them, and they knew in that instant that they were healed. At times, the inspired idea may seem to have no obvious relation to what we feel we have been prayerfully considering. Nevertheless, we recognize the idea as being exactly right.
