While I was visiting my daughter and her family several years ago, my four-year-old grandson was struck by an automobile. A neighbor who witnessed the accident called an ambulance, and the child was rushed to a local hospital. The parents and I followed immediately and were asked to remain in a waiting room while the child was examined.

When the attending physician had completed his examination, he informed us that there was a head injury and that it would be necessary to drain accumulating fluid from the head; that there was intestinal bleeding in the abdominal area and that an operation would likely be necessary; and that one of the child's kneecaps was broken, which would require a cast. The doctor then indicated that further testing would be done while we waited.

During this entire experience I had been silently affirming God's allness, His ability and willingness to protect and sustain His spiritual creation. I had been healed countless times over a period of many years, as had my four children. Never had our reliance on God failed us.
