Can Christianity be scientific?
Christian Science searches for the consistent, the practical, the reliable, in order to explain the real nature of things.
[Original in German]
Many people feel that science and religion are opposites. They associate science with provable knowledge, and religion is seen as dogma, which is only to be taken on faith and can hardly be proved.
On the one hand, there are a great number of unproved beliefs, or hypotheses, in the sciences. To rely on them requires faith. And of perhaps even more significance is the fact that without faith in fundamental axioms, the sciences are inconceivable. Without inspiration in research work one would be hopelessly lost.
