I am very grateful that my parents took me regularly to a Christian Science Sunday School during my childhood. I attribute my past and present good health to an understanding of spiritual truths that I first gained there.

A healing that I had as a child bears witness to the effectiveness of prayer in Christian Science. My sister and I had come down with measles. We received no medical treatment. Instead my parents asked a Christian Science practitioner to pray for us. The next day the rash had almost disappeared. The healing was quick and permanent.

Several years ago I had the opportunity to participate in a study trip to South Asia. Inoculations and preventive medicines were recommended, but not required by law. I had found in Christian Science that God is our true healer and protector. For this reason I decided to trust God exclusively.
