Christian Science has been a great gift to me
Christian Science has been a great gift to me. It has stabilized my daily life. It has spiritually enriched me, and through my study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, it has healed me. Healings have been numerous since my introduction to Christian Science two years ago. One such example is my release from an immunological disease for which there is no medical cure.
Two and a half years ago, doctors, basing their findings on blood tests and symptoms, told me that I had the mysterious immunological ailment Epstein-Barr virus, also labeled as chronic fatigue syndrome. The condition was such that I was unable to work full time, drive, walk, or sit up for more than twenty minutes at a time without drooping down to the floor or on a bed.
During this time I pursued many alternative methods to get well. As a member of a research team in an immunological laboratory, I knew that modern medicine did not have a cure, but neither did ayurvedic, Chinese, or homeopathic medicine. Psychic healers, vitamin therapy, and psychotherapy did not alleviate the trouble.
