Refuse to be allergic
God is the only true cause, and what He causes is good. On this sure basis we can find freedom from suffering.
To someone suffering from any of the suggested causes of allergies, the title of this article might appear puzzling—maybe even absurd.
If instead the title read "Refuse to react" would that make it less mysterious and more conducive to exploring? After all, we do have the ability to refuse to react to an unkind remark or to a suggestion that we just plain don't agree with or know is unfounded. Yet we can also refuse to be allergic, and benefit as a result—not through mere human will but through the power of divine law.
During the spring and summer, in the area where I live, every evening television newscast mentions the "pollen index." Later in the year, when fireplaces are in use, we hear about the "pollution index." It would seem we can be perpetual victims of the atmosphere.
