Last year we had a wonderful healing in our family. Our teenage son, Sean, had a small cut on his finger that he did not mention to me until a few days later, when he came home from school with the finger badly infected. I began to pray about the situation right away. I also called a Christian Science practitioner for him, who agreed to give him Christian Science treatment.

As my husband and I prayed through the night, we felt calmer and were able to see that God is indeed the true Father-Mother of everyone, and that our divine Parent envelops His children in His love. Our Master, Christ Jesus, said, "I and my Father are one" (John). I knew that in reality each of us is inseparable from God's ever-present love. Our entire family endeavored to get a better understanding of God, Spirit, and of man as His spiritual image.
