The peace that gives inner stillness
The hurly-burly of our days cannot blind us to the peace that is ours from God.

Stillness —isn't it practically a foreign word in our times, in the twentieth century? Everything rushes, races; time is money; there's no stillness. But this concept is worth giving thought to.
And if we give it some thought, we realize that stillness has a much deeper meaning than we've ever imagined. In the Bible we find many helpful passages on stillness. They bring out the spiritual and the human significance of the word. Is this of any use to us? Most definitely!
