Since my previous testimony was published in an issue of The Christian Science Journal in 1971, good has continued to flow into my experience; I credit this to my ongoing study of and efforts to apply the teachings of Christian Science. Now that retirement from a demanding business career of over forty years is at hand, I hasten to use some of the first moments of my less rigid daily schedule to go on record again, declaring that Christian Science heals.

Science has made all the difference in my life between becoming caught up in the often discouraging and tempting ways of the world and being able to demonstrate a degree of stability, health, and prosperity that I am certain would not have been possible otherwise.

Many business-related problems have been worked out harmoniously through prayer in Christian Science. Whenever a bleak financial picture threatened, through turning to God I found comfort and direction, that always resulted in a sense of abundant supply. Whenever our family had a need during the years for more adequate housing, for tuition, for extra giving at church, for occasional vacations, all such needs were met through normal earnings, though the orders that kept the business going were seldom known of in advance.
