Over the summer of 1989 I experienced a wonderful healing through Christian Science while I was at a horse camp.
One day I had just given a ride on the back of my horse to one of the instructors. I dropped him off at the fence and started cantering my horse away. All the other horses were cantering at the time, and because of the different speeds the horses had, we all got into a big clump. The horses got excited and started to buck (especially mine). I fell off and landed right in front of my horse, who then trampled me.
As I fell to the ground I thought, "God is Love." I felt a pressure on my leg and my back as my horse stepped on me. He also stepped on me between my shoulder blades and on my head, which was protected somewhat by my helmet. But I wasn't harmed, except for a bruise on my leg and a scrape on my back.
