As
you are well aware, people have concerns these days about the quality of life going downhill, about people losing contact with people, about answering machines talking with machines giving automated sales pitches, about the loneliness and emptiness of the late twentieth century.
No matter what our job is, most of us find we need fresh insight to tackle each day's assignment. There is no fresher, no more enlightening view than the one that God, Spirit, reveals.
When we face what seem to be unreasonable demands, we do have an alternative—prayer. It can lead to practical answers.

Christ Jesus' example isn't just applicable to our personal affairs. The love and wisdom he demonstrated can bring healing to the workplace as well.
When we get almost obsessed with what we'd like to accomplish for ourselves and others, maybe we need to understand more of what really impels effective lives.
A growing understanding of our real nature as God's spiritual creation restores not only our hope but our wholeness and well-being.
God's kingdom isn't a material place. Like light penetrating darkness, His kingdom can suddenly bring healing and reconciliation just when we think they are out of reach.
When the scenery looks the same, we might falsely assume nothing has changed. Yet behind the scenes, quiet spiritual growth may be turning the tide of events.
I Was
