On course
Father, tame my restlessness,
The urge to move too fast,
Reluctance, also, to listen.
Let the question be asked,
"Am I headed by Thy direction?"
Tune my ear to hear,
"All that I have is thine."
Good and wise is Mind's provision,
Full and satisfying,
Unfolding the larger design.
Principle, let me blend
With Thy stately doings.
As ego and fear subside
With doubt and fretful longings,
Then only joy presides,
And progress is ongoing.
