I am so grateful for the traveling salesman who lent a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy to my great-grandmother many years ago in Switzerland. Her subsequent healing brought my grandmother and mother into this wonderful way of life known as Christian Science. What a sharing of this inspiring book can do, the many lives it can touch; we'll never know the extent!
I must express my gratitude for the many healings and times of protection that I experienced while growing up. These include the healing of a broken leg, sports injuries, and diseases commonly associated with childhood.
At one time I was in a school bus full of students that overturned while traveling at a fair speed. We were all able to walk away from the accident and wait until another bus could come and take us home. However, after that I was very fearful any time a bus turned a sharp corner. I kept feeling the bus was going to turn over. This made riding buses very uncomfortable, especially since I would often have to take a bus through a mountainous region with lots of sharp curves.
