I would like to express my deep gratitude for Christian Scientists...
I would like to express my deep gratitude for Christian Scientists who have reached out and recommended this Science to those in great distress. My family's experiences bear witness to the fruitage of such selflessness and compassion.
My paternal grandparents had two little girls, then a baby boy. At age one this son became seriously ill with an infantile disorder common in that day and subsequently died. A second son was born to my grandparents. He suffered with the same disease when he was one year old and died. The medical verdict was that the couple could never have a male child who would live.
Eventually my grandparents had a third son. When he became a year old, he contracted the same disease and was about to die. At that point a neighbor came to my grandmother. With great compassion she said that she couldn't bear seeing these children continue to die. She asked my grandmother to consider Christian Science.
