"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big...
"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy). I have felt these blessings throughout my life as a Christian Scientist.
I am grateful for the help I received through Science during the years my three children were growing up and for the spiritual assurance that wherever they were, God's loving care surrounded them.
One day my son and his older sister were at home mowing the lawn. The power mower threw out a large piece of heavy wire, and it became embedded in my son's leg. My daughter alertly prayed about the situation as she pulled the wire from his leg and washed the wound. Then my daughter came to my office about a block away and calmly told me how she had prayerfully handled the situation. The boy's leg was fine, and that was the end of the incident.
