I have been helped and healed many times since my parents found Christian Science when I was a small child. Now I have children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who follow Christian Science!

When I was about ten years old I had a healing of pneumonia. A Christian Science practitioner was praying for me, and I am so grateful for her dedicated, loving prayer. When I returned to school, the principal wanted to keep me in the same grade for another semester because I had been absent for some time; but I assured her that I would make up the work. I did so and ultimately graduated a year ahead of my class. I feel this came about through an understanding of the statement from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy: "The perfect Mind sends forth perfection, for God is Mind."

When I was a teen-ager, enlarged glands in my neck were healed as a loving practitioner prayed with me. Because my mother had had this same trouble, we worked to know, as Science and Health states, "heredity is a prolific subject for mortal belief to pin theories upon; but if we learn that nothing is real but the right, we shall have no dangerous inheritances, and fleshly ills will disappear." The healing was complete.
